Come to the beach and enjoy award-winning ales crafted by      Head Brewer Blackwell at our ocean view bar or out on our patio      and enjoy the ocean and view of the Long Beach Skyline.

Blackwell's love of brewing propelled him to take a Craft Brewers      Lab through the American Brewers Guild at Davis, CA.

Brewery
The brewery is a seven barrel system manufactured by Pub Brewing Systems. We have two fourteen barrel fermenters and two seven barrel fermenters and seven serving tanks. This system operates at near capacity and produces over 1000 barrels annually.
 
 Brewer
"Blackwell" has been our brewer since April of 1999. After several years as a home brewer, Blackwell began brewing professionally in  Albuquerque. He worked for two and a half years at Kelly's Brewery  before moving to Long Beach. Blackwell brews simple recognizable ales;  clean blondes, hoppy pales and IPAs, balanced ambers, big stouts,  fruity weizens and spicy Belgians.

BREW HOUSE ALES

Marathon A wonderful Light Ale that is golden in color with a mild hop flavor and subdued bitterness. Marathon won a Bronze Certificate in the 1998 & 2001 California State Fair! 4.5% alcohol by volume.

Strawberry Blonde This exceptional Fruit Beer is also golden in color with a mild strawberry aroma and a fantastic dry refreshing finish. Bronze Certificate in the 2001 California State Fair & a Bronze Medal winner in the 1997 World Beer Championships. 4.5% alcohol by volume.

Pale Ale A Classic California Pale Ale. Served unfiltered. Brewed with plenty of Centennial and Northern Brewer hops and served unfiltered for extra hop flavor. 4.0% alcohol by volume.

Top Sail First Place 2001 California State Fair & First Place 1998 California State Fair. This Amber Ale has a rich copper color and a toasty malt flavor with medium hop bitterness. 5.5% alcohol by volume.

Long Beach Crude Long Beach Crude is pitch black with a rich complex chocolate malt flavor with a hearty roasted finish. Bronze Certificate in 2001 California State Fair. 6.5% alcohol by volume.
